Throughout the development process of our country's textile industry, we have experienced three stages: the original period, the start-up period, and the blowout period, and the period of 2013 is entering a period of steady growth. After years of fighting, the competitive landscape of the home textile industry has begun to change quietly, and brand home textiles are on the rise. At this stage, with the continuous upgrading of consumption and competition in the home textile industry, the home textile industry is in a period of transition from the initial stage to the development stage, that is, the biggest change in the market is the structural adjustment cycle that has entered a high-speed development.


During the "11th Five-Year Plan" period, China's textile industry successfully responded to the global financial crisis, the appreciation of the RMB exchange rate, and the sharp increase in production costs. On the basis of the rapid development of the "10th Five-Year Plan", it maintained a stable upward trend. Further increased the intensity of resource optimization and integration, and made great progress in the fields of production, operation and brand building. Strengthening international standards has promoted the international competitiveness and comparative advantage of the industry, and basically achieved the development goals of the home textile power.  In 2011, as the first year of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, the state of China's textile industry is in good shape. In 2011, 1548 enterprises in the home textile industry completed a total industrial output value of 209.765 billion yuan, an export delivery value of 53.911 billion yuan, a total profit of 12.24 billion yuan, and a production and sales rate of 97.97%. At present, China's apparel textiles account for about 65% of total textile consumption, household textiles account for only 23%, and household textiles consume less than 1% of consumer spending. From the realistic gap between domestic and foreign home textiles consumption and the future development trend, China's textile industry has huge room for development. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, the main task of the development of home textile industry is to guide consumption, actively expand domestic demand; to promote channels to promote enterprises to become stronger and stronger; to promote home textile culture, strengthen brand building; optimize industrial layout, promote gradient development; Improve the contribution rate of science and technology; strengthen personnel training, strengthen the foundation of strong countries; practice low-carbon environmental protection and achieve sustainable development; improve the public service platform and create a good industrial environment.
