1. Fiber, textile fiber
Fibers are natural or synthetic filamentous materials; textile fibers are fibers used in woven fabrics.
Plant fiber: cotton, hemp, soybean fiber, corn fiber.
Natural fiber animal fiber: wool, rabbit hair, silk.
Textile fiber mineral fiber: asbestos.
Recycled fiber: viscose fiber, acetate fiber.
Chemical fiber synthetic fiber: nylon, polyester, acrylic, etc.
Inorganic fiber: glass fiber, metal fiber.
2. Fabric organization
Definition: Textiles are obtained from two systems that are perpendicular to each other on a loom. They are interwoven according to a certain rule, that is, the latitude and longitude lines rise and fall according to a certain law, so that the surface of the fabric forms a certain pattern and pattern. It is called fabric tissue. There are plain, twill, jacquard, satin, non-woven fabrics, etc.
(1) Plain weave: The texture formed by the warp and weft yarns interlaced in the weaving process.
It is characterized by the fact that the warp and weft yarns have the most interlaced structure in all fabrics, and thus the breaking strength is large, and the front and back features are basically the same.
(2) Twill weave: the texture formed by the interlacing of warp and weft yarns during the weaving process
The feature is that the number of warp and weft yarns is less than that of the plain weave, so that the number of yarn counts per unit length can be increased, so that the fabric is more compact, thick, and has a good luster.
Jacquard is the embossed pattern of textiles interlaced by warp and weft. There are many types of textiles, and jacquard fabrics are one of the major categories. Jacquard fabrics can be divided into home textile materials and fashion fabrics. As early as the ancient Silk Road, Chinese silk is famous for its jacquard weaving. Embroidery is just a kind of decoration. Generally, the embroidered fabrics are plain-encrypted fabrics, and the jacquards are relatively high-grade. The requirements for cotton yarns can be raised, and the quality of cotton yarns cannot be shaped. Jacquard It is also divided into plain jacquard and twill jacquard.
The difference between printing and jacquard:
The printed fabric is a flower that is printed after the fabric is woven, and there are many options.
The jacquard fabric is woven during weaving, and the fabric can no longer be selected after it has been formed.
(3) Satin texture: the warp and weft yarns are interlaced and woven in the weaving process.
It is characterized by a significant difference between the front and the back, the front is particularly smooth and shiny, while the reverse side is rough and dull. Under the same strip of fabric density, it is the least interlaced point in the original tissue. So feel soft, but the strength is the lowest.
3. Combed and carded yarn
A three-step process of "rolling", "convolution" and "combing" is added between the carding and drawing process in front. The yarn is spun by repeating the tampon] lap repeatedly and combing the short velvet (16 mm or less) to improve the uniformity of the spun yarn. The yarn spun by this method is called combed yarn. If the yarns woven by the above three processes are omitted, the yarn is combed. Fabrics woven with combed yarns will have a greatly improved appearance and feel.
